With a background in business I started out working at America Online (AOL),  originally as a PA, soon moving to negotiate promotions with AOLs partners, in their then pioneering E-commerce Dept. 

 

After having children, I moved to work with children in various school settings.  All the while, for the past 15 years have been a landlady and successfully managed many properties of my own in London and Wiltshire.

 

During this time, my family and I moved abroad for a few years, punctuating life with a little sunshine and soca in the Cayman Islands.

 

My properties were handed to a management company. I returned to find  thousands of pounds’ worth of damage, that I was unaware of, it was a disappointing experience to say the least.
